Almost the last straw

I’m in quite the predicament. I don’t eat out a lot, but I had to go out of town yesterday, so I stopped by a local fast food establishment to grab something as it was gonna be late when I got back to town. Well, as it happened, I gave them my order perfectly the third time I told them what I wanted and when they handed my food to me that I didn’t check because I work hard and shouldn’t have to remember to do menial/arbitrary tasks, they didn’t give me a straw for my drink.
Now obviously, my predicament is what to do about it. Per a lot of what I see on social media I have two choices.

1- Blast the restaurant with every meany pants phrase I know. I will curse each employee that works there as well as their current and future family members. I will let them know that I am going to instill hatred for this restaurant and the people that work there inside my children and my grandchildren. All 4 of my family members that are still speaking to me will loudly boycott this horrible institution. I’ll make sure I go by and spend an hour or two making them feel unworthy and staring at them with full-bodied eye contact until I know without a doubt in my mind that I won, because no one takes advantage of me. Whether it was on accident, on purpose or I’m just delusional and can’t tell the difference between reality and the disparaging paranoid fear inside my own mind. Then, right after that, I’ll boost it up a notch and ask to speak to the manager. That’ll rue their day.

I pay taxes and work hard for my money and stuff. I don’t have to put up with these obnoxious honest mistake makers. I know my rights. Believe me, I’m not one to be mean to others or talk about people, especially when they’re ugly or smell weird or have dumb moms that can’t fit through the bathroom door, but you should’ve seen the nasty looking splinter in the drive through cashiers eye. It was absolutely unbelievable. I’ll have you know that when life deals me a bad hand it’s not fair but when it happens to others it’s because they’re stupid, mark my words.

2- Let it go and realize this occurrence has led my thoughts down a path of awareness that led to compassion and super chill behavior.
As of right now I’m leaning towards choice number two but please be considerate of my time and give me your thoughts soon because I’m sitting in line at the drive thru while I figure out how best to deal with the possible atrocity and I obviously have better things to do with my time than wait on everyone to take their time giving me opinions. Thanks and I hope everyone has a blessed day.
