At some point we’ve all had this happen to us. So I’m lying in bed trying to wind down for the day. I’m absently scrolling through books on kindle and I accidentally click on some mermaid and vampire love story novel and then BAM!! Every other “recommended for me” book for the next month is a love triangle with billionaire Dracula and some average joe schmuck with 0+ blood duking it out in a pool of banana pudding while Ariel stands faint nearby clutching her bosom and fanning herself with a thingambob she found in the kitchen whilst drinking a bottle of wine that unbeknownst to her was poisoned and now she’s gonna die and then average 0+ joe schmuck and billionaire Dracula end up not only becoming friends but get married and make wedding rings out of ariels thingamabob and move into Drac’s Hawaiian penthouse where they get along for about 4 years but the death of Ariel weighs heavy on Joe and he ends up leaving Drac and Dracula doesn’t take it well at all and ends up biting joe and then joe becomes a vampire also and is bitter at first but then gets “the bloodlust” and goes about the world devouring mankind aka “his emotions” for about 100 years and then finds out that Ariel isn’t dead she’s really just been asleep so he sets out to cure her and of course he does and Ariel is awoken and confused but glad to see joe but she really wanted drac the whole time so joe gets sad but he’s a vampire so it doesn’t last because he has no soul and then he goes back to find Dracula and he tells him about Ariel and so Drac goes to get Ariel and brings her back to live with them because it’s 100 years later and she can’t operate in the world now because the world is too strange and she needs time to adjust and just when things seem to be settling down Drac mysteriously disappears and then lead off into a sequel but I mean who cares? I don’t know what makes Kindle think I’d be interested in reading crap like that. I just accidentally clicked on it one time and now I have to inundated with similar suggestions every time I wanna peruse the book lists. I wish I could just block the books like that.
